Security Smart started in 2018 with a single van and a frustration: every CCTV company on the South Shore was selling boxes, not systems. Seven years later, we're still installing one site at a time, ourselves.

The story

We don't sell cameras.

The first install was a strip-mall in Brossard whose previous system had cost ten thousand dollars and recorded forty-eight hours of unwatchable footage at the wrong end of the parking lot.

We pulled the cameras down, re-walked the site, drew up a coverage plan on a notepad, and re-installed four cameras pointed at the actual problem areas. Total bill: under four thousand. The owner is still a client.

The principle hasn't changed since. Walk the site. Solve the actual problem. Document everything. Pick up the phone when it rings.
